My husband by the stone wall
He would make the adjustments on his Digital SLR and then hand it to his brother so he could take the picture.

Excellent view
Dora and I, this window had an excellent view of the area below the mission. The mission was built on hill next to and Indian village.

All of us
My husband set up the camera and used the rock wall to support it, then he ran around to us so he could be in the picture too. Being the photographer he is seldom in the picture. In the background you can see the entrance to the old mission. It still had some excellent accustic. You could whisper at one end and they could hear you at the other end.

This is from the second mission
At the second mission which was built out of stone like the first one, the stones were red. In fact the whole area was red. It made for some good pictures. We made it back to Santa Fe after 09:00 PM, too tire to venture to far from the hotel. There was a Chili's next door and we decided that that was good enough for dinner. We had margaritas!! Oh, I needed one. The food was good but the margaritas were great! We wanted to get up early the next morning, but we stayed up very late talking. We were going on a train ride in the morning.

Desert colors
Bright colored hues in the desert sun. They were quit expensive. We found this farmer's market while we were waiting for our train ride to start. It was about two blocks from the train station and we had gotten there about an hour early. We walked to the market and looked at all the items they were selling. We found bundles of sage they were selling for $10. We decided not to buy them, but to collect some sage from the roadside and make our own. We did!

Enchilada red
Another wall that my husband liked for a background. Only in New Mexico can you paint a building this color and make it look good.
