Manuel "Meño" and Maggie got married when they were very young. They arrived at our house in San Antonio in the middle of a rainy night. They have been married almost as long as I have.

This is Maggie in Eagle Pass. They had gone with us to visit my husband's family. Maggie was 15 years old.

Meño started working in the oil fields and traveled all over Texas. Maggie stayed with him on the road.

Here he is with Bertha. It looks like they are in front of my parents house in Barstow, TX.

They came to visit us with their first child, Teffany. The picture was taken at the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio.

Staying cool at the Balmorhea Lake. We had gone to Balmorhea for the day and Meño and his family were fishing at the lake. We stopped by on our way home. We were only going to be there for a couple of minutes and ended up leaving way after dar,.

19 years later.

Maggie bought Meño a new lowrider bike. Then Manuel and Meño custom built this frame and put all the parts from the new bike on it. I don't know if he is still using this bike, but he won 1st place at the San Angelo Lowrider Car show in May 2003.
