I do not know any of our relatives in Texas, but had heard about them, my father Zenon Lugo & my mother Rosa Ramos Lugo, came from Mexico and settled in texas for couple years then moved to New Mexico, we have cousins in Artesia, NM, Arizona, and I believe several other states, we had a family reunion in 2006, in Las Cruces, NM, and this year are having another one at same place. I know some cousins came to the 2006 reunion from Texas. My nephews and rest of us are trying to get a we site with our family history, photos, and info contributed by whom ever wants to.We are a big family that has grown what with grandkids, great-grand-kids, marriages, etc. I am printing out all the family info Juan Paz-Pena has sent me and now I will have what you have on your web site and be able go check it out often!!! | Comments: | I remember the whole family. The last time I saw Mr.Berbardo I gave him a ride from PECOS to Barstow. This was in 1966. I had just returned from Germany.I remember a teacher by the name of MISS jENSEN, But there was also a student young lady by the last name of Jensen. Emilio's oldestson visited me here in King when he was stationed AT fT Bragg many years ago. I remember Ernestina, she was a basketball player. She played with Esperanza and her sister Elva Armendariz. Patty Bratcher and Jennelle Echols were all in the same team. Mr. Wright was the principal.Emilio played football.I remember Roll and Silverio very well.My best regards and prayers to you all. |

Mr. and Mrs. Adams are buried in the Barstow Cemetery. After retiring from the pastorate, Rev. Adams owned and operated a grocery store for several years, across the street from the Post Office.
